Partner Relationship Agreements
Organizations may enter into partner relationships with the DICE program. Participating organizations have signed agreements with DICE and typically loan equipment or software to the test bed, provide senior expertise, and/or jointly work with the DICE team to develop funding strategies for research that has broad community appeal. Through these partner relationships, we are working together to solve community-wide HPC and IT challenges to accelerate the discovery of new solutions.

| Obsidian Strategics | Obsidian Strategics and the DICE team have a partnering agreement to support the evaluation and use of long-haul InfiniBand applications. Obsidian Strategics™ is the developer of Longbow™, a series of InfiniBand products featuring range extension, routing and encryption. Longbow technology allows an InfiniBand fabric, normally a short-range network used in HPC, to be extended via optical fiber over varying distances. Longbow connects across Campus, Metro or Global networks to offer unparalleled high-bandwidth, low-latency access to InfiniBand compute and storage resources.
